WHO ARE WE?
UNITED BY OUR COMMON MISSION OF SERVICE TO CHILDREN, the Kiwanis Club of Richmond is a fellowship of women and men who join together to strengthen our ties to the Richmond community and improve the lives of our city’s young people. We do this as part of Kiwanis International, a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world – one community and one child at a time.
The Kiwanis Club of Richmond has been a fixture in the community for more than a century, and is one of the largest Kiwanis clubs in the world, approximately 165 members strong. We meet weekly at noon on Mondays at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture for a catered speaker luncheon, and host a more intimate “happy hour” after-work gathering at Bejing on Grove on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, and invest our time and talent in service and philanthropy on behalf of the children of Richmond.
