Pam Seay is currently the president and chief executive officer of the Virginia War Memorial Foundation, a private non-profit dedicated to the mission of honoring veterans, preserving history, educating youth, and inspiring patriotism in all. She left retirement to accept this position and to help the Foundation specifically in its strategic planning process and its efforts to transition from a successful capital campaign to a sustainable organization with a multi-million-dollar endowment and broad base of support. She has more than 30 years of experience in non-profit administration with focused expertise in broad development, long-range planning, and fundraising. She retired from the Virginia Historical society after nearly three decades. During her tenure there she worked with a committed team of professional staff and volunteers to raise more that $150 million for capital projects, annual support, endowment, and special programs. She is frequently asked to consult, lead workshops, and speak to non-profit professionals on emerging fundraising issues and trends.
