Exploring Inclusion

Resource List

The Diversity Committee has prepared a collection of resources to assist members in thinking about the "why" and "how" of becoming a more diverse andi inclusive Kiwanis Club. Please refer to the Resource List for informational sources as you participate in the strengthening of our club. This is a "living" document, so please make suggestions for additions to info@richmondKiwanis.org for Committee consideration.

Our Stories

What does it mean to participate in a diverse and inclusive community? Often the most instructive and compelling stories come from those we know personally. The Diversity Committee is launching a new series whereby our own Kiwanis members share their personal experiences of diversity and inclusion. Errol Rohr, Professor Emeritus of Philosophy and Chaplain at King University in Bristol, TN, leads off the series by describing his experience as a white college student in an HBCU (Historically Black College or University).
