John P. Ackerly IV, CFA, is the Senior Vice President of Davenport Asset Management. He serves as a member of the Investment Policy Committee, Serves on Davenport's Executive Committee and Board of Directors. He received his BA in history from the University of Virginia; his MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University; and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He is president of the Davenport Mutual Funds, and is past President, of the Richmond Society of Financial Analysts. He serves on the Board of St. Joseph’s Villa, and is married with two grown daughters.
