One of our service partners, CHAT (Church Hill Activities and Tutoring) would love to have volunteers from Kiwanis help with their Richmond Big Band Christmas event at the Byrd Theater on Sunday, December 5, 4-5:30 pm. Volunteers would receive a complimentary ticket code to enjoy the concert as a part of their service. CHAT needs our volunteer names and contact info by Nov. 19. Fifteen of Richmond’s finest jazz musicians will take the Byrd Theatre stage to perform sacred Christmas songs in the energetic, celebratory, and uniquely American genre of big band jazz, with proceeds benefitting CHAT.
