Kelly King Horne, Executive Director, Homeward: State of the Unhoused--What’s Next for Addressing Homelessness in the Region

Kelly King Horne has spent more than twenty years with Homeward, leading efforts to advance housing stability and systems-level solutions for people experiencing homelessness. She holds a Master’s Degree in Religious Studies from Stanford University and previously worked with Habitat for Humanity International and the Peace Corps, living and serving in Europe and the former Soviet Union.

She is on the board of the National Alliance to End Homelessness and now serves as Executive Director for Homeward, the lead planning and coordinating non-profit for homeless services in the Greater Richmond Region. Established in 1998, Homeward manages regional data, facilitates federal funding from HUD, and collaborates with local governments and service providers to prevent, reduce, and end homelessness.
