John Bryan’s writings have been featured in a variety of publications including Sports Illustrated, Delta SKY, Arts Link and others. His books have addressed subjects ranging from religion to art to fly-fishing and have had introductions written by such notables as The New York Times Executive Editor Howell Raines, The Conference Board CEO Jonathan Spector, and President Jimmy Carter. John’s career includes 20+ years at VCU and 6 years at CultureWorks. He has degrees from Davidson, Vanderbilt and City College of New York.
