Kanyon R. Keeney, D.D.S. is an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon that limits his practice to only dental implants and bone replacement. As a matter of fact, he is one of the few board certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons in the country to do so.

He received his D.D.S. and graduated with honors at the Medical College of Virginia in 1984. He then completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1987 where he served as Chief Resident. As a resident, he coauthored several articles in surgery and was the first resident at the University of Pennsylvania to place dental implants.

Today, Dr. Keeney is known locally, regionally and nationally for excellence in Dental Implant Surgery and has been doing so for more than 25 years. He has placed several thousand implants and has attended several hundred hours of additional training and updates in the latest technology in dental implants. He is a Diplomate in the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow in the American Association of Oral Surgeons and American Society of Dental Anesthesia and became the first active Board Certified Oral Surgeon in Virginia to become a Diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
