On July 11, we will hear an update from G.W. Carver Elementary School principal (and Kiwanian) Tiawana Giles on efforts at the school following their first year back to in-person classes, as well as information on the potential for a new Kiwanis program supporting the school’s early literacy efforts and preparing youngsters to “read to learn” by the end of third grade.
