Cyane Crump has served as the Executive Director of Historic Richmond for almost five years, where she works to shape the future of Richmond by preserving our distinctive historic character, sparking revitalization and championing our past and future architectural legacy. A former partner in Hunton & Williams LLP, for nearly twenty years, she practiced business law with a focus on mergers, acquisitions, corporate transactions, private equity and fund formation, real estate investment trusts and securities law matters. She brings extensive experience in nonprofit governance with community boards and her service has been recognized with awards such as Style Weekly’s Top Forty under 40. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the University of Virginia School of Law, as well as the Leadership Metro Richmond Class of 2005. A Richmond native, she has a passion for history and Richmond’s historic built environment.
Cyane will be sharing how two different types of partnerships have revitalized a historic gateway corridor in Southern Barton Heights and one of the city’s oldest surviving civic structures.
