Service Projects & Events

Our Club runs several ongoing service projects in partnership with Richmond Public Schools, William Byrd Community House, and Virginia Voice. Members also participate in various community events like the Richmond Marathon and Monument Avenue 5K, as well as one-time service opportunities throughout the year with our partner organizations, including CHAT, Children's Hopsital, Salvation Army, and others. We also support four Key Clubs in Richmond area high schools, and we sponsor CKI at both Virginia Commonwealth University and University of Richmond.

In addition to our many service projects, our Club's Fellowship Committee plans several social events throughout the year, including a Christmas Party, a Spring Party, and the fall Presidents' Reception to which all members and their guests are invited. We've also been known to do a Theatre Night and other social events.

The Kiwanis Club of Richmond has an Interclub Committee which plans monthly outings to other Kiwanis Clubs in the Richmond area.
